For a woman, this is pretty funny. Just jumped on the stalkybook, and looked at the Facebook Memories it threw up. Scroll, scroll. Oh dear. On this day 5 years ago it was our 18th wedding anniversary. Oh. Today is our wedding anniversary..

Happy Anniversary Lee . Although everyday is a good day. As you can tell, we don't do the one day a year thing. Ha ha. We've been friends for 32 years, and we didn't do the 'Will you marry me?' thing either.

We were watching our little 36cm ... TV in our Housing Commission house with 2x toddlers. I turned to Lee and said, "Hey, do you want to get married next month?" You know, like, "Do you want to go the movies or something?" Not like a romantic thing. I just figured it would be good to change my last name to the same as the boys and him. So I bought the pad of 30 invitations and sent them out. I didn't realise that there were things you had to do to get married. Ha ha. Funny stuff. So our bridesmaid wedding cost $100 for the celebrant and $3.50 for the invitations.

I borrowed a debutante dress and Lee borrowed a white silk shirt. Family chipped in for for a few other things to make it half decent, including the house for a venue.

In hindsight, I only wish I had've thought to mention BYO grog and chairs, (We didn't have money for our own grog even. Making up for it now though..) and no presents or money. ?
