I have always believed and argued that nobody can alter the plans of God for His children. But people can cause us needless delay. I do not believe that mortal man can permanently truncate God's programme as respects any of His children. Otherwise, our faith in God would be shaken drastically. For the main reason why we follow God is the fact that God will do what He says He will do.

Each time we pray, God sends His answer one way or the other to us. Sometimes God wants us to wait a while, and that on its own is an answer to a prayer. At other times we are given a direct answer. God can tell us to take a particular step and that could just be all that we would need for our exponential increase.

God is an all-wise God. Sometimes, God just gives us a no for answer. But we always don't like such answers. We prefer to be pampered a little by God. In fact, we always think that God has not given us the final answer if He tells us no. We often think that a little lobbying might just save the day.
Now, even when God has answered our prayer, it might still take some time before the real answer is felt or touched. This is where patience plays a huge role. No matter how acceptably we pray to God, the harvest will go through the normal hog before it gets to you. The sun will not suddenly stop its normal business of rising and setting just because your prayer has been answered. The gestation period must run its full course. Patience is very crucial in our walk with God. Dealing with God calls for a serious mental preparedness on our part. This pizza or takeaway mentality we have about God will not serve us well.
God answers the prayers of His children the way He chooses to answer them. Never you fret. God is always God, doing wonders in the assembly of His people. He neither faints nor wearies. He is just stubbornly devoted to our case or cause. He is a good God. He always has our interests at heart.
